    Need the English word for...

    Hi guys!
English is not my first language and drug terms and expressions isn't exactly something you can look up in the dictionary so I hope someone here can help me; I need to know the English term (if there is one) for the feeling that you get when you smoke too much and your head goes all 'black', you feel dizzy, might need to throw up etc.

Also, if you know anything about why this happens (and by that I mean the chemical and biological stuff that happens within your body while this goes on) I'd be intrested in knowing.

    Thanx...

Thanks for that, I'm just looking to know as much as I can about the cannabis lifestyle, good and bad (tho good totally outweighs the bad IMO!).
It hasn't happened to me that often (maybe 4 or 5 times in the last 7 years) but the last time was scary so I kinda want to know a bit more. Like if the use of tobacco might be a contributing factor or something, I don't smoke tobacco exept with pot (and that's just because hash is pretty much the only thing you can get in my local 'market', good quality weed is hard to come by and usually very expensive) so maybe that time wasn't all about the THC, but the nicotin and all that other nasty stuff in cigarettes...

Anyways, I guess I'll try googling 'whitey' then!

    try urbandictionary.com

they have some of the best most simple terms.

Yep, its known as a whitey. I've not had one in ages, but when I first started out and I got really high, I had them quite often, but they went away. I too, have been stuck on the tobacco/weed thing for ages.

It's a bigggg long trip and I think it's all about time. You learn as you live and go on..Just keep experimenting...

    STAY HIGHHHHHHHHHH!!!

You dont need anything complicated..for example
    saying "im fucked"
then passing out would give others a good indication you're not doing too good

there is a chance they'll stare at your face for a while cause you look sickly...i have tripped out looked at somebody whitey...

When this happens, it's usually because the person hasn't been eating or sleeping properly.
If it keeps happening, or you get vertigo (the 'spins') after smoking weed, you will need to get your blood sugar checked.
Or in this case it could have been nasty tobacco.

The main slang term is 'whitey' but I also like 'greening out'.

The correct English word for what you are feeling is nausea. I think the reason this can happen is because smoking makes your blood pressure lower. Which can result in you feeling light headed and nauseous.

everyone is right... even tho my tolerance is reasonably high, sometimes i over step the mark and feel shitty. usually: empty stomach, liquor, rolling with a cigarette instead of rolling tobacco in my joints makes me feel shitty after a while too.... high indoor/outdoor temperatures can also add heaps to a buzz... many contributing factors...

Interesting....I've never had it happen to me that I ever remember. Does something usually cause it....some folks mentioned not eating and hypoglyemia etc. How long does the feeling usually last?
