    Saying "sorry"

I used to say this word a lot when I was real little..less that 10 I am sure..after that I have never said it unless I really meant it and I was truly sorry..

But I hear people of all ages say it today when it is not meant or even necessary. It is just habitually said..

do you know people like this or are you like that?

no i'm not like this... i don't say it nearly enough... but when i do say it, i say it incases in which i wish i could go back and change whatever i'm sorry for.... it may take hours, it may take days, maybe even years for me to feel regretful and be sorry (depends on the situation actually), but when it does happen, you know it's heartfelt....

the way i look at it is, whatever is done is done and it can't be changed, but occasionly i fuck up really bad, and do something that i feel horrible about, me telling you sorry is me acknowlding how bad i fucked up, and i wholey regret it and i just want you to know that....

i dont like when people just apologize to be polite over stuff that doesnt even matter like accidently bumping your hand when you both go to hit the elevator button at the same time. it doesnt piss me off it just isnt necesary. i actually offered my first sincere apology to someone at work for snapping on them a few months ago. i had just met them and was in a bad mood and just kind of yelled at her for a second i apologized the next day now we get along well. a meaningful apology goes a long way

I'm sorry that you had to read this.

If it were up to me, "I'm sorry", would be replaced with, "Honey, please forget about everything that happened, today or last night, and just concentrate on the sounds."

Jimi Hendrix said something like that.

I probably dont say it enough, and Im pretty bad at apologies, unless I know I truly owe a heartfelt apology for wronging somebody

I say it only when I truly mean it.
