Trust me on this. If you go another week with no pruning, your plants will be 3' tall when they start to flower, and that's just not good with a 400w lamp.

On the upside, your strains love to be pruned and will grow into nice bushy plants if you prune them right.

Hi Pharmacan, I was hoping to use one of each type as a mother plant, as I have no way to get more. They are getting so big! The 2 GDPs are 21 inches each (I just checked), and the white widows are 23 inches each. I have 1 GDP and 1 ww in my flower room. In there I have 2 400 watt HPS lights. I only have 1 light on at the moment as I thought that was enough for two. I was going to put in 1 of the m/b kush girls, but then I realized the mildew prob, so I will leave them for now. I can't wait for the Serenade to arrive!
I DID prune them, several times each and on every branch! They are growing like wild fire, except the 1 kush hybrid. They must have come from a good place! They are getting as bushy as can be as well! I was so happy until yesterday when I realized why the little lady wasn't growing so well. She's not tall, but is still a nice little bush! I can't believe I thought it was dust! It's cause they are next to an entertainment center and I forgot to dust the top of it for a while. When I got up there to dust I was shocked at the amount there was. I was hoping I just got some on those 2 plants as they were close to where I was.
Wow, I rattled on...sorry about that! I should keep a grow log on here. I have a very detailed journal I have been keeping. Thanks for the advice, and well, you know! :jointsmile:

At first I thought I had gotten dust on the plant, but now that it is on newer leaves I had to rule that out. So...I clipped off the most affected leaves this morning and increased ventilation in my vegging room. I had the fan going off with the lights as I have them on 20/4, it will stay on now. I made the area larger to avoid crowding. I only have a white widow and a Grandaddy purple in there with Rating: 5
