Yellow leaves, burnt tips, and picsHi everyone-

I read before posting but I'm not sure what it is still. I know that some of you will see the pics and know immediately.

I have two separate veg kits in DWC. Two days ago the leaves in one veg kit (White Widow strain) were looking yellowish. The other kit (Northern Lights strain) was looking good, but there are purple stems on both.

I emptied the tanks and started nutes for the first time. BC Grow with BC Boost. Minimum PPM.

Now today, the White Widows look even yellower, and some have very yellow tips, and the NLs look pretty yellow with extremely yellowed tips.

Yellow leaves, burnt tips, and picsYellow TIPS indicate fertilizer scorch. Back off BIG TIME on your feeding. A seedling that small needs very very little food.

Yellow leaves, burnt tips, and picsThanks, stinky. So should I dilute it 50%? Should I go back to straight water?

Before I added the nutes, the White Widows were looking a little yellow. Let me know what you think.

 Thanks

Yellow leaves, burnt tips, and picsI can't really see the yellowing in the pictures; is it the whole leaf that is yellow? or just the tips. If the whole leaf looks pale green/yellow, you need nutrients. Start at around a 25% concentration and every week increase it a little (around 25%). If the tips are yellowed and/or dry/crackly, nutrient burn is most likely the problem and reducing the concentration should remedy the problem.

Yellow leaves, burnt tips, and picsDefinitely nute burn. Plants that small shouldn't be getting any nutes. Just use straight water for the first week or two, or at least until they start growing a couple branches. Then start slowly with 25% strength and work your way up over the course of a couple weeks. Its one of those few times in life where more is not better.
