Hydro is not cheaper and certainly not easier. the results aren't that fantastic with hydro.
I HAVE GROWN both ways.
I have probably been toking longer than some of the people here have even been alive (27 years).

PS please refrain from refering to everyone as KIDS , I think I may be a little too old for that description.
