I would take Organically Grown Herb that was well taken care of WAY OVER Hydroponically grown. Hydroponics is good for tomatoes and mass produced herb, but not 10/10 grade herb.

Well, I guess you may have been "ignant" about the fact that there is such a thing as Organic Hydroponics. Not to be hostile, just sayin' .

Organic anything is better than chemical-ridden stuff. Of course it's better, lol. Especially when it comes to the taste of the ganja, organic really blows anything away.

I guess you could call my weed "hydro", since I grow it myself in a hydroponic system. Now, also know I actually know what I am doing, and I grow for myself and my inner circle, so I do flush it correctly. Always easy on the ferts as well. So since I smoke my shit, I make sure it tastes good, and doesn't leave a headache that unflushed plants tend to give. (I have also grown in dirt, but every plant I have, I used for hash, mainly because those girls just became sooo resinous, mainly because it was outside, I believe. I like mine either way.)


So yeah, if you have a decent connect that grows it properly, you really can't tell the difference. Hell, you may even prefer the hydroponically grown over the soil. I don't really care, having a dro system means you don't have to dump soil all the damn time, and I hate doing that.

Mfqr, no I was not aware. I thought that hydro was distinct to the commercial growers. From what I am aware of, Hydroponics grow small buds but many of them?

I prefer big buds and lots of them too. Anyway, I guess when you what your doing, it can be good either grown in soil or in nutrient water.

I prefer weed grown in soil simply because all the hydro growers I know are in it for the money and don't bother to flush their shit before harvest. I can't STAND it. Tastes like mmmm... fertilizer!
When you are exposed to mostly-organic compost grown herb that has been loaded with bard supplements its whole life, your opinion of the Lowly Dirt will change drastically.

If someone is growing hydroponically id consider them a grower that knows some shit. So if this grower already seems so educated on the subject why wouldent he be growing high quality genetics? Seedy weed never comes from a hydro setup.

Just because someone is growing hydro does not mean they won't ever get seeded weed, that has nothing to do with the grow medium and everything to do with only having female plants in your grow and avoiding contact with pollen producing MALES.
If by SEEDY you mean crap weed then you really need to do your homework because hydro is certainly no guarantee of good weed, in fact it is easy to make one simple mistake and lose your whole harvest when growing hydro.
I get so tired of the hydro crowd pretending to be the elite when everyone knows that nature knows best.

The system will grow whatever you put in it. It's not magic for chrissake....it's growing in a soilless medium. You put in crappy weed....it'll grow crappy weed. You put in good weed...it'll grow good weed. How hard is that?

And no, I don't feel "elite" for growing in hydro but I DO feel pretty good about not having to buy weed in today's world and since my hubby and I go through about an ounce a week and haven't bought any in over a year.....call that whatever you want.
