questionMost of my plants had main colas and lots of branches with buds, but I have 2 that only have a main cola with no branches at all. Is there a reason for this or is it just the strain or something? Thanks for all the help. I got about 4 ozs. on my second grow ever off of 7 in ground plants, thanks to you all. Is that a pretty good amount for 7 plants outdoors? Thanks again buckyboy Reviewed by buckyboy on . question Most of my plants had main colas and lots of branches with buds, but I have 2 that only have a main cola with no branches at all. questionYour harvests will get bigger with practice- congratulations on your first harvest.
Branching depends on strain and whether the plant has been topped.
Some strains if left untopped will grow as a bud-on-a-stick, some will become a Christmas tree shape, and others will branch pretty much on their own.
How tall were your plants at harvest time, and when did you plant them?

questionI had a 5ftr, a 3ftr, a 4ftr and 3 2ftrs. I still have two 2 ftrs in the ground. One sprouted on Aug. 1 and should be ready at the end of Nov., and the other one sprouted on June 1. The one that sprouted in June has cloudy trichs but I'm waiting on some amber. The 5, 4, and 3 ftrs sprouted on March 5 and were harvested early Oct. There still in jars. None of my girls were topped. Might try it next year
