Do you think that using pots in an outdoor grow in the bush will increase the risk of them being spotted as the pots are black? Even though the spot cant be seen from the trail? Coz the black in the bushes might catch someones eye...

Or, maybe bury the pots half way in the ground, or just put them in the ground?...

Im just worried about the bad soil in the ground and other possible stuff....

    thanx

Honestly, here something easy to do that will only cost you 3 dollars and a little time. Grab a couple of cans of camoflauge spray paint and give all the bucks a spray on the outside. It doesn't have to be pretty, just mix up the colors. Make sure to cover the buckets before you paint, gotta keep the inside of them clean.

Also, then dig holes and bury the buckets 3/4's of the way, so that ground water doesn't get into the pot, but most of them are covered up. The 1/4 that is uncovered is camoflauged to match the ground better.

The paranoid man is the last one standing. Better to be safe than sorry. Good luck!

partially burrying them should help to conserve water, which is the real problem with keeping them in pots. they dry out alot faster than it would if planted in the ground.

im going to do a grow next spring outdoors, and i was thinking the same thing. my idea is to just dig a hole so the rim of the pot is even with the ground and build a mound of soil up.
