    stems purple on my plant

on my plant the stems on the leaves are purple going up to the leaves from the stalk. I was wondering why this was is it because of the strain or what?

It's because you touch yourself at night :\
ANYways, I've heard purple stemmage is just part of the strain, but I've also heard that magnesium deficiency will cause that. Epsom salt added to the feeding could help if you felt the plants were possibly hurting from this. To a reservoir of 30 gallons, I'd add 3-4 teaspoons and look for an improvement. I used to go as high as 12 teaspoons for 30 gallons when I was using general hydroponics for nutrients. I think it had a possible negative effect with the advanced nutrients, so I add very little, to no epsom these days.
