plant height regulation?
As I transitioned my very healthy crop from vegetative growth to bloom, I was alarmed at how fast my plants were growing vertically in my aeroponic setup. I tried Bushmaster at half the recommended dose for three days. It just about killed my entire crop. The large fan leaves were the first to curl up and turn whitish brown. The vertical growth did stop, and the buds appeared quickly, but the stress to the plants will probably doom my crop. The large fan leaves experienced something similar to the symptoms of over-fertilization and too much light intensity. The leaves turned tan except at the veins and then curled up. One week later most of the large leaves have dropped off the plant. I'm carefully watching to see if my previously healthy plants can recover. I would recommend that others do what I did not: thoroughly research this product in all grow forums before using. Then if you decide to use it anyway, research some more. The instructions on this product are especially sketchy and unclear. The salesman was careful to warm me to use half the recommended dose, which I did, but it was still apparently not right for my crop. I used the complete Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow Plus Program for the vegetative stage feeding, and Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur Plus program for the bloom stage. Perhaps some critical incompatibility in nutrients occurred with this mix.
