    Flowering 2 Master Kush

Ok....new log. Not all that exciting but there it is.....take it or leave it. These two are in Day 20 or 21 of bloom and are doing very well. They have stretched somewhat due to a few lighting issues beyond my control but that has actually worked to my benefit (so far....) because I've been wanting to see what would happen if I stretched them to see if it would keep me having to prune and tweak the leaves so much to let the light in. Seems to me it's six of one or half dozen of the other.....no real pruning needed but I'm going to need more space than usual as well so I'll decide after this grow which I want more.

    Right now my specs are:

spare corner of bedroom (as usual :wtf..about 4'x6' at present.
1kw hps in cool tube w 6 in inline 440cfm inline fan. With temps outside in the 50s the tube and light are staying down in the low 70's as opposed to a 10-15 degree swing in the heat of summer.
    room temp: 60-78F
    water temps..65-75
    humidity....30-45%
Higromite rocks (glad to have them but h-e-a-v-y )

Nute mix: R/O water/ approx 15 ppm start.
    Cannazyme 5 ml/gal
    CalMag 500ppm
    PB Bloom 500ppm
    L Karma 5ml/gal
    Sweet 5ml/gal

and the numbers are coming up at about 1150-1200 (using hanna meter ). I will be switching to the bloom enhancer within a few days (I believe at the start of week four...day 28....but will have to reread quickly to be sure).

So far no problems that I see. I grew this strain once before and liked it very much. This time I'll try to let it go longer and see what happens at the end.

Here's the link to my old log just in case anyone wants to know the end of the rhino story. :wtf:

    Flowering 2 Master Kush

WH, looking forward to the log, which is timely for me. I am flowering a strange assortment of shorties right now in DWC bubblers (1 super skunk, 1 blueberry, 2 MK clones) along side 2 MK ex-moms in soil that I just moved out of veg since I need the room.

Kinda off topic, but can you describe your system? Looks like a recirc DWC from what I see. I am using DWC non-circ this time but will probably go to DWC recirc with a res to make pH, PPM, etc easier to manage. Do you drip at all.. or ???

    Thanks!

Hi MVP.....i should have listed that spec actually so my bad for forgetting to say what the system is. It's a waterfarm setup (dripring) with a central res and I run four plants at a time off it. I'm doing a perpetual harvest type thing.....not really a SOG and not really a perpetual harvest either but I usually end up harvesting something every 4-6 weeks. There are actually 2 central rez that I run two plants each off of....they are at different ages with different nute needs so helps to have seperate rezes imo. Right now I am behind with some of my seedlings....had some ph issues etc that put me behind schedule but I have 2 female sour northern lights x nevillle's haze that a friend gave me that I keep in seperate waterfarms in another room with cfl lighting. They are about three weeks old now and when I turn them (in about two weeks) I will start two more female seeds and so on.....

I grew the MK's before and really like them.....both the yield and the final product. What do you think of it?

While this last grow (the one with the self harvesting cola ) is my first one in over 10 years, I actually picked up the MK some time ago then vegged them into big 'ol moms since I wanted to have plentiful cuts. From what I've experienced so far the MK's cloned very nicely for me and since I put them in 12/12 a couple weeks ago they've flowered impressively too. MK seems to be tolerant of me as I shake the years of rust of my gardening skills.

Sooooo... I've decided to include them as 1 of my 4 mothers: Black Domina and Master Kush for my indicas, then Blueberry and Super Skunk for my hybrids. Anyhow, I am looking to your grow log here to kinda 'see into the future' as I am a couple of weeks behind you, but I'm sure we can share experiences and have fun doing so.

The MK's do seem to be a happy bunch and i quite remember enjoying the smoke from them.....no harshness at ALL and a nice hashy type flavor. I will keep an eye on your Black Dominas since that is a strain I'd like to try some day.

I got some feminized BB seeds from a very good friend but have not found the BB to my liking too much......too many issues with growing and the final product was a little TOO couchlock for me.....a very heavy duty stone.

I'm doing seeds instead of clones simply because there are way too many varieties out there to pick just one. Which ones have you grown that you've liked? That gives me an idea for another thread.
