Hi, just a quickie about them damn mites!.. Grrr..

I think i have spider mite, pale yellowie things with a dark spot hanging around on the under sides of me leaves.. there be little'er pale things too, probably eggs..
Anyway, want to get some of them predator mites but i'm unsure of which ones to get, the most popular ones seem to be for the control of 'red' spider mite, mine aren't red, or is that just a term..
    Thanks all,

Hi, just a quickie about them damn mites!.. Grrr..

indoor growers will often be dealing with two-spotted mites.
Ladybugs work if you want to go the IPM route. You can even gently vacuum up the worst of the eggs and webbing before releasing predators.

Hi, just a quickie about them damn mites!.. Grrr..

An 'expeienced' friend said ther're many things to slow them down but there're only really 2 ways to deal with the buggers effectively, predator mite or sulphur bomb..

Thankyou, i shall try vacuuming tommorow & whatever else i can get my hands on..

Hi, just a quickie about them damn mites!.. Grrr..

There are other options, such as pyrethrin bombs followed by hanging a no pest strip to prevent reinfestation, or the classic neem oil treatment.
Mites also like HOT STILL air so cooling your room and adding a breeze will piss them off and slow down their reproductive cycle so you can combat them better.

Hi, just a quickie about them damn mites!.. Grrr..

I have found pyrethrin bombs very hard to get over here, all of the garden centres for quite some radius have rather pathetic choices of pest control, & there are no longer any grow shops for miles & miles..
I always seem to run into trouble when i have absolutely no money!

    Thankyou stinky
