It's so hard, so terribly hard to just get started down here. I've pretty much tried everything I can think of and it's starting to get annoying and frustrating. So. As the new guy here in town, I'm asking for advice. Any advice.

Except... I can't? At least, I'm not sure I can. 'fraid the thread will get nuked. I mean, basically, I'm new in Tampa, don't know anyone (so, the party angle is right out) and most of my attempts at getting "hooked up" just end up in utter and embarrassing failure.

I'm, like, asking random people. It's not really working. I just need some buds (that's smoking friends, but, heh, the pun works, too) to hang out with. You know.

Dude if you live in tampa, head out to clearwater beaches and walk the sand, and ask some likely looking people they are there. Also there is a badass hydro shop about an 1 hour north of you, I had to drive 5 hours to get there and it was still worth it.
