xbox live difficult!

i have had the 360 for a while now, but i just got the xbox live yesterday.. man i thought i was pretty good at ncaa 08 and madden (i beat all my friends). dude, i get freakin killed on xbox live! it seems like the other dudes know my plays! am i missing out on something? the other dudes are constantly in my backfield, and they pretty much intercept any pass i throw! this sucks...

with most any online game you'e gonna have a high ammount of people who spend pretty much all their free time playing.... thus they become as close to 'gods' at the game they could possibly get to.... which translates to getting your ass whipped....

i'd just say either find 'noob rooms' (every game has them) or keep trying unti lyou get better.... personally i enjoy the second.... i may get my ass whipped for awhile, but after awhile i'm forced to get as good as them.... and then i surpass that standard, and become the person that forces others to up their game lol....

Yea man true that. My friend has Maddan 08 and on a good day will own me 60-20 or so. But when he gets on xbox live he will be offered mercy at half time. I dont know how they do it either.

I stick to FPS. I just fuckin shoot em with a shotgun and theyll go down. End of story =). Hopefully.

yeah it sucks...i need a lot of practice i guess!!! but i don't see how practice makes their players so much faster than mine and also it seems like the gameplay is a bit choppy and weird online. is that normal? like my kicks are always terrible cause there is kind of a delay.

you just gotta play online more, some people i play against are too good, but i like playing people with worse records than me, i quit if the dude has an unbelievable record. there are certain plays that almost never fail, and you need to find them

last part sounds like a connection problem on your end.... do you have torrents running or anything while you're playing?

i think that might be your problem if their players are running faster then yours, the game is speeding up the movement on your end of their characters to compensate for the delay... so it just looks like they're moving super fast.... happens in fps's too if you lag alot.

i dunno, i have 6MB cable... and i'm on a router but i never have lag... is your router wired or wireless?

i am on a wired router..i thought maybe it was the router slowing me down, but now i am running straight from the modem to the xbox, and it is still slow. oh well, i have won two games in a row now. just gotta play really crappy people!
