    Norkali's 2nd Indoor Grow - *Cinderella99*

I didn't top and LST at the same time; topping first, then LST a couple of days later.

I read through your 1st & 2nd grow, looks like you're a natural, good job! I can only hope that I'm as quick of a learner as you

Sorry I'll Rephrase my question. Is there a difference in potency or yeild by using 2 Techniques on 1 plant at different times? Compared to using 1 technique on 1 plant through out veg and flower?

As far as potency goes, I (IMO) don't think that the way you train a plant (LST/topping/ScrOG/SOG, etc.) has any influence upon the end potency of the plant.

Yield though? Definately, it depends on the variables though. Some strains 'like' being topped, and some just don't. I'd say that the same applies to LST'ing as well. For example, the C99 loves being topped and LST'd; each of the plants recover quickly and keep on chuggin' along. I can't say the same for the Granddaddy Purple though, which was treated in the same manner, at the same time. The GDP took an extra day or two to recover and didn't end up even growing new tops from where I topped it! It just 'gave up' and focused the auxins to the rest of the nodes.

So, it depends. If you have a strain that can handle training well (topping, lst) then using both techniques may prove 'better' than using only one, or none. Other strains though would suffer, like Big Bud, which doesn't like being topped, or, GDP.

Hey I just wanted to say hello- I'm here tagging along but have nothing constructive to add- you're already a pro it seems! lol
What a lovely bunch of plants you have.
Sorry if it has been asked, but what cut of the OGK do you run, which have you tried so far, and if you've tried a few, which has been your favorite so far? My 'Abusive' smells skunky-lemony when cured. It's not reputed to be the best of the OGKs.

I get what your saying now. ITs basically the plants liking and using these techniques basically have effects on the yeild but not potency because its in its genes?....:stoned:

Cant wait for the next update!

:computerlove1: lol. The dispensary that I went to actually had no idea what cut of OG it was, nor had they even heard of different OG cuts.

I have some absolutely AMAZING finished OGK right now though! (Notice it shows no mention of any specific cut) I mean WOW - this is some good shit! Smells like tire shop/rubber eraser/skunk.....absolutely lovely smell.

    1. Beautiful babies, I had about an 75% success rate; first try.
    2. Girls going to bed, after lights off.
    3. Just-a-waitin' for the buds.
