HELP i have a white foam buildup on top of the water in my DWC Res..???

Ok i have a white foam buildup on top of my res water....there isnt too much of it but its on my roots now..and i dont know what it is....It happened a time before and went away in a few days...so idk what it is??? i am using GH 3 part nuts. and water from a local spring with a PPM of 220...someone have any suggestions or ideas??

220 ppm. Thats nuts and dirty water. That is what I would guess is creating this white foam buildup. The local water authourities put chemicals in our tap water so that contaminants don't make us sick. Yeah like putting chemicals in drinking water helps. Anyway, your water source is the reason for your prob. Oh yeah, plants can grow in dirty water but don't expect any flowers.

My suggestion would be for you to get yourself a RO filter installed in your kitchen. Or if you can do it yourself, install it where you please. You can never go wrong with RO, 15 - 30 ppm max!
