I go to school in ohio and recently got busted with possession and paraphernalia. it happened in the dorm, and i was wondering if anyone here had any advice/experience with this. I think with any drug charges you loose your lisence for 6 months - 5 years. the police were actually pretty cool to me, and said something about a diversion program where all i would get is a disorderly conduct charge. does anyone know the penalty if i can do that? what are my chances of being offered that program (its a first time offense). My lisence was suspended already but the suspension is over, i just havent gotten it back yet, will it get re-suspended? theres also free legal services on campus i scheduled an appointment there , i have court on thursday. any advice/info would be appretiated, thx!
