It will take probably twice as long as a fresh vegetative cutting because the cutting must change to vegetative mode once again. I have taken cuttings from a flowering plant when I lost all my clones. You're right it takes a bit longer it took me three weeks. But once it goes, it becomes a fucking bush. give it a try it worked great for me just takes a little longer.
