It is indeed.
It is an apparatus for the distillation of a very specific chemical that is used in the preparation of PCB samples for analysis by gas chromatography. It is generated as a gas and must be condensed and dissolved into a carrier solvent, in this case hexane, before collection and storage at VERY low temperatures- it has a nasty habit of exploding unnacountably.
That was my project yesterday, tweaking that apparatus to work on a carrier solvent it wasn't designed for.
So what should I put up as a profile pic tomorrow, lol?

Ironically, the apparatus was designed for use with Ether, which has been known to give the entire population of Da Lab the 'ethermunchies', even if you're using it under the hood! It STANKS!
