    What do you believe in?

I'm not superstitious. Can't muster any faith in the supernatural. Don't buy into aliens or ESP or ghosts. I mostly believe in the power of the human mind and in science. I agree that people are capable of achieving anything they want to.

When I was a kid, I believed in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. We maintained that fiction for our son, too. Just seemed like the thing to do since kids like that stuff. I would love it if Nessie the Loch Ness Monster were real, but I don't think she is.

I think with stuff like ESP, especially with reading peoples' 'thoughts,' it's more of a heightened sensory kind of thing. Mostly receiving chemical messages through phermones and body language, much like a dog can 'sense' fear. Those kind of people are better at receiving those types of signals. Not unlike blind people enhancing their other senses.

I don't believe in a god, I DO believe in the seemingly limitless power of humans- I believe as we advance as a society, we're using more and more of the reported 80% of the brain we don't use, that's why we keep advancing. Each skill is more complex than the last. Can you imagine civilization in 200 years? Mindblowing that the iPod will be in history books like we view the cotton gin, or the wheel.

    What do you believe in?

I believe in aliens, ghosts, and life after death. I'm still agnostic on God and don't believe in orthodox religion at all.

Science. I don't have faith in the unseen. I need proof.
