Smoking on campus

I'm wondering if smoking my weed through a cigarette filter will block out any THC or cause me to not get as high. I've found that a good way to smoke on campus is to empty a cigarette and mix the tobacco with about a gram of weed, then stuff the mix back down inside the empty cigarette. I can walk anywhere on campus and toke but i can't tell if it's making any difference in my high.

well if you can't tell whether it's making any difference then chances are it isnt? I don't know haha. I have tried that before for concerts and stuff but usually I find it's easier to just roll a J or something.

And I have heard that the filter only stops tar and stuff not THC, but ive also heard the opposite, so who knows. Just keep doing what you're doing and at least you can laugh at campus cops and stuff when you walk by them with your 'cigarette'

the NORML study that has incited huge debate (NORML Confirms Bongs Counter-productive)
claims that cigarette filters do in fact stop THC. A few people who have tried this said they do not get high if using a cig filter.

i used to smoke weed cigs all the time. before i turned 18, i used to clean out a cigs insides, do about 3:1 weed:tobacco combo. left the filter on. still got high as hell. so NORML, says it dosent work. so what. they say bongs are counter-productive. bongs still work. i dont know what norml is doing these days, but i KNOW for a FACT that cig filters still let you get high, and dont stop the high. i smoked around 200 weed cigs total, and each time, without fail, i got high, and each high was like a noob high after clearing a bowl.

Ya I'm still getting a decent high off of them but I haven't been smoking any other way for a while so i wasn't sure if there was a difference

Sure you can get high, but you're wasting THC with a cig filter. An unfiltered joint outscored a filtered one for THC/Tar ratio in the NORML study because the THC is sticky. So if rolled filters (joint filters) stop some of the THC, I bet the compact cig filters stop a shit laod more. toke on.

thats a lot of trouble to go to to smoke on campus.

i lived on my campus for a year, and we just rolled a joint and took it out to where the redeau canal is and blazed.

if you are worried about the filter, just pull it out and stick a paper one in there. the idea of the cig is so that it doesnt look different, but no one is going to notice the end of your filter unless they are staring at you pretty damn hard, and if its security thats staring at you pretty damn hard you likely already have a problem that a filter isnt going to fix.

Seems like you might have to pick an option within the set of efficiency of smoking method versus smoking location...

But trying a custom filter sounds good, too.

Trust me, the cigarette filters DO filter out an amount of THC.
