Recirculating DWC
In a recirculating DWC system, do you have to keep the resovoir elevated or do you keep it level with the other grow buckets? Also, when topping off your resovoir with liquid karma, do you mix the amount of lq for just a gallon and add or do you mix the amount for your whole system? Thanks

Recirculating DWC
As for the reservoir, most people in a recirculating DWC setup seem to keep them at the same level because by monitoring your reservoir level, you simultaneously monitor your DWC buckets levels. My friend's uses a recirculating DWC, but the setup is a little different. The reservoir sits on the ground, pump inside pushes nutrients up to the tubs on a counter and the excess drains back to the reservoir... make sense?
As for the liquid karma question, most people add it when they completely change out their nutrients, not at top-offs, and you want to add enough for the entire volume of your nutrient solution.

Ditto what GG said about the liquid karma. Mix it in proportion to the entire nutrient solution when you change the nutes in your res/system.

All good info so far .
Most of the time when ppl. raise their res. higher than the system itself - it's because their pump runs a lil faster than they actually need and gravity cant refill the system fast enough .
Raising the res. increases the speed the system refills itself . = Gravity Sucks .

Recirculating DWC
On the liquid karma question I was trying to follow latewoods formula:Proven:Nutrients all you need! GH 3-part and calmag+ as he suggests alternately topping off with LK & CAlMag+ instead of mixing with nutrients at the same time. Or am I misunderstanding him? Thanks

Even though Crispi is a self-proclaimed 'noob', he gets more out of a single bucket than most do in entire grows... so I would follow his advise.
