Taking a clone from a flowering plants is ok, but once the clone grows roots it will want to re-veg, a process that takes 2-3 weeks.

I think you need to put a little more research into growing.

I have changed my plan since this post. Instead of starting from seed, I am going to attempt to use a 3 clones from a friends indica. My first clones will be from his mature, vegetative plant. They will be in the clone bubbler for about two weeks and at this point they will be taken out of the bubbler and placed in my hydroponic setup. Once in the cab they will be veged long enough for them to fill the screen. Im hoping it will be about 4 weeks, but I am not sure....

I am not planning on taking clones in the flowering stage. I plan on taking my clones after they fill the screen in their veg state, and before I turn them on to 12/12. The only problem I am seeing with this is that the clones will then be in the bubbler for 8 weeks, while the plants in the scrog cab are finishing their flowering. I am worried that the clones will then be too large to place into the scrog cab, at this age will i be able to bend and manipulate the plants enough to fill my screen. I will only have about 6-8 inches from my medium to the screen.

I am really limited on my space so I am trying to be as creative as I can. Flowering clones may be my only option. Thanks for the comments, keep em coming if you can... I have read as much as I can, and will still read more.. However, its difficult to read on exactly what I am trying to do.
thex420 Reviewed by thex420 on . Preparing for first cabinet scrog... Hey all, Im new here and have been just doing research up to this point. I have designed a cabinet that I am going to try and do a scrog in. I have most of the cabinet figured out but I still have some questions for anyone that has done a scrog before. I am hoping I have enough space in the lower chamber for the clone section of my closet. I have 8 inches of room in the lower chamber and I am worried I don't have room to grow clones large enough that they will be ready to move to the Rating: 5
