    1st Grow Cabinet. Please Help

    Hello all,

    I am going to start growing here very shortly. I plan on building my own Grow box. I'll probably make it 4' wide x 4 ' long x 6' or 7' tall.

    Some of my main questions are;
    How could I keep the humidity lvl and temperature in the right area?
    What lighting would be best for this size?
    What kind of intake and exhaust fan should I use? Need some time of exhaust that will eliminate smell o.k.

    Anything else that I may need please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Josh

    How skilled are you at construction?

    First thing you want to do is build a floor with a drain in it.

    PC :smokin:

    a drain ? ... :wtf: ... you need a minimum of 400-watts,a 600-watt HID lamp is better ... in an aircooled hood, or cool-tube, an oscillating fan, and you can't overdo the ventilation ... intake cool air down low, and exhaust it at the top ... etc., ... and, if you're not too clumsy, you shouldn't need a 'floor drain',

    I'm decently skilled in construction. So as long as I have the materials I could build it.
    How do I keep humidity up in the box?
    Are there any special exhaust fans that purify the air as it leaves the box, or could I maybe build a filter?

    in that space a 600w would be nice. if you can make the cab 7' do it the taller the better really. prob best off just painting the inside white for now. you will need a carbon filter and spriral case fan preferably a better output fan to your intakes humidity i find easy, cheeky really lol i got a humidity gauge and i control it with a bowl of water or a bowl of salt checked twice a day. salt reduces humidity whilst a bowl of water increases. or if your posh get a humidifier. pretty important to have a good quality timer to run your lights on, (i've had ones which stick on) and another to run an osccilating fan inside the room 15mins on 15 mins off or on all the time like i do. keeps the mould at bay and helps with even temperature distribution
