HPS VS FLUROS
ok i am in the middle of my first indoor grow and i am currently useing cfls and fluros i was wondering. do I NEED and hps bulb or will thease work. money is not to much of an issue its that i like the price. i am wondering if i get enough cfls fluros etc that i can get a good harvest. harvest that is = to a hps grow is that possible and does evan make sense.

HPS VS FLUROS
I grew with 48" fluorescent tubes for many, many, years successfully ... yes, you can grow high-quality bud with them ... no, you will not get the yield or bud density, as you will with a HPS ... not even close ... BUT, the quality will still be there ... use 'Cool Whites' for vegging, use 'Kitchen and Bath' for flowering ... I like the tubes a LOT better than the CFLs, but, I'm probably in the minority on that ... :smokin:

HPS VS FLUROS
if using tubes, you should keep them within 1"-2" above the plant ... if using CFLs, further away, as they run hotter ... :smokin:
