    LIGHT QUESTION

you have a cool tube(or will get one), you already have some of the heat issue whooped. it is known that mj can grow in as little as 30w per square foot, also that most people try for around 50w per sq.ft. for the best results. i try for 40w a happy medium. i dont use co2 but if you do the temps can be a little higher. it will come down to a live and learn thing. you wont want to vent with a co2(unless timed) but that is what the cool tubes do, only suck out heat but not your room air. ok, im no pro i only learned by reading, and this was an article in HT. but im sure you can find the info you need if you study a little bit.

    LIGHT QUESTION

    i agree w/opie, proper ventilation is key....safety is #1

also make sure you aren't overloading a circuit, you don't want to be popping fuses espeically if you're in a place w/old wires/fuses you're taking a big risk if you overload

here's how to do the math

in the US every outlet is 120volts....now your fuses are rated in amps, the plug you plan on hooking the light into find out which fuse it is on and then look on the fuse switch itself and you will see how many amps it is ... typically 15-20 is normal for a standard room.....now take the volts x the amps to see how many watts you have available to use.... what I do is this I do 100 x the amps....why 100? well, it's easier to do the math in your head and plus you leave yourself a little safety headroom

    say you have a room on a 15amp fuse....15 x 100 - is 1500 --- so 1500 watts available to use

now make sure on this fuse you dont have things like toasters, microwaves, hair dryers, a refridgerator..... when these devices click on they typically have a big spike and can pop fuses

    good luck,
    be safe
