ripher Reviewed by ripher on 10-16-2007. Using a pipe without a screen. Does anyone who uses a pipe without a screen have tips to keep ashes/embers out of your mouth and throat? For some reason using a screen is annoying to me, and when friends would always use one for some reason I found it irritating to see them fiddle with it. Anyways, especially at the end when you would get the popper if it were a bong, I sometimes get chunks of ash or burning material in my mouth and it tastes disgusting as hell.
