Pieces and activity

Does anyone find that using different pieces changes your high significantly, and also what kind of activities you're doing/have done that day? Which has more effect? I'm wondering because I've been much more active than usual today, and when I finally smoked up it hit me hard and fast, and went away just as quickly. It lasted maybe 20 minutes instead of the usual hour or so. But I also smoke it in a different pipe from what I normally use, the pipe I was using smokes a lot hotter and doesn't taste as good. I normally use a small bong but it's really dirty and I didn't feel like cleaning it so I used my spoon. I rarely ever use my spoon BTW. Also, I notice that a joint seems to make an even longer-lasting high than my bong, but it seems to come on slower and doesn't get as intense. Anyone else's thoughts or observations? Does anyone but me sometimes not know you're high until you stand up and walk to the bathroom, and then you're like "Wow, this is some good $#|+"?

Does anyone but me sometimes not know you're high until you stand up and walk to the bathroom, and then you're like "Wow, this is some good $#|+"?
