Thanks for all the advice! My org. post sounds like I am needy, desperate, etc. but in fact, I have talked to her more than twice & she has also come up to me to start the conversation. I know I have shown desperation with other girls in the past but I have been acting different with this one. I am also sure she is single because every girl who who has a BF will try to bring that fact into the conversation. Plus it is hard to talk to other girls in the gym because they are college students and I work for the college (she is not a student).

She is new to the area and I gave her my phone number if she wanted someone to show her around. She never called. I saw her again this week and she came up to me and started talking about how she heard about this dog-park where she could take her dogs in town.
