    'You Sneeze,You're Dead Man'

^ But outlawing guns doesnt solve anything! Sure you and me wont have guns but the criminals will. What, do you think that the criminals wont have the guns if theres a law in place? No, they will. There criminals. The only thing that will happen is that the innocent people will be defensless.

And what about people who can't physically defend themselves? Like some women or the elderly?

Besides, Australia isnt any safer. The crime rate hasn't dropped one bit.

    WorldNetDaily: Crime up Down Under

Besides, whats next? Banning pointy knives? Or rocks?

And if someone IS after me, like robbing my house I have a FULL right to shoot them if their coming at me. Its my right to life.

^I agree with Rebgirl. I wish that guns were never invented in the first place because I beleive they have brought society down, but since theyre here and never going to leave, everyone should be entitled to one. Reb is right, outlawing firearms would make it so criminals would be the only ones armed, leaving citizens defenseless.

the sole purpose of a gun is to KILL...why are we advocating MORE of these things in our society?

i understand the need for self defense because we don't live in a perfect world and there are plenty of bad people in it, but i think the problem with gun control will only get worse if we have more of them out and about and easier to get...anyone agree?

btw rebgirl thank you for taking away one of my precious boxes.

    haha jk! : )

Gun control is such an odd topic for me.

I like the idea of people protecting themselves with whatever means they have (ie: guns) but I also think it'd be pretty scary if (nearly) everyone had guns, because some people just can't be trusted with them... I'd even go so far as to say many people couldn't be trusted with them in public.

Sigh. In your own home, you should have that right, no ifs ands or buts. In public, it's hard for me to make that leap, as it's so logical yet illogical at the same time.

    Howdy Y'all,

Never ever forget-the one thing that dictators and criminals fear the most--is a bullet--because there ain't a human being alive that can out-run a bullet.

And don't make the fatal mistake of calling 911 or whatever yer country's emergency number is,because the cops can't be everywhere at once and they can't be sued for failing to protect you or yer family.

Guns are also for hunting and would come in very handy if the supply line to yer local grocery store is interuppted for more than 3 days,as most stores only carry that much,if not less.

For those foolish enough to trust a stranger for yer own defense..well..ye shall reap what ye sow..and don't come crying to those who know better.

I hope that this reply is seen by those who have already chosen to give up on personal defense,as it seems that replies are being lost, when they're done within the body of the thread, there's some kind of database error going on.

    Have a good one ...
