Close Calls

Just recently I was crossing the mexican and Texas border. I bought a dub of weed with those wonderful mexican prices:thumbsup:. Me being stupid I listened to these people when they told me there was no dogs at the border for people only for cars(I walked across the border). I have crossed before and did not see dogs so I thought all was good. So I just simply put the bags in my sock. When I was deep in the line to show your US ID and greencards or whatever I saw a dog. I was scared shitless. I could not keep my eyes off the fricken dog. I think the police noticed. Me being the only american coming across at the time especially on foot meant either I was going there for prostitutes or drugs. I could not turn around as the police woman was coming right at me without looking guilty as hell so I just stood there scared straight. She kept this dog smelling me for like 3 min. and nobody else! The dumb mutt couldnt smell anything! So she then brought the dog around everyone else momentarily. I tried to look cool and present my ID to border patrol and while I was leaving I was seriously thinking about running at this time because the gate was right in front of me, but what are the odds 15 cops with a dog vs. me. She called me over for additional searching. I thought I was dead. All she had to say was take off your shoes and see a big bulge in my sock. She didnt though and just let that smelling impaired shepard smell me again. And yea he didnt smell shit. HAHA cops looked confused. Well anyways I got baked:rasta:
Word of advice: never cross the border with drugs the penalties are much greater. on top of that im on probation right now. talk about close calls.

Aren't drug-sniffing dogs only accurate something like 20% of the time? I thought I'd read that somewhere, don't quote me on it.

where im at they are pretty accurate. i got locked up and put in county and during the processing they put about 30 of us in a cell and told us if we had anything take it out now and throw it on the ground, the dogs were gonna search us. Me, had coke all over the front of my jacket took it off and threw it on the floor and i'll be damned if that dog didnt smell it. went straight to it like he had a fucking radar...glad i took that son of a bitch off, no tellin what the dog would have done to me.
