Does anyone know anything about purple widow?

I'm curious as my buddy just got some purple widow and some strawberry kush, wanted to know the difference and what you guys would reccomend? I'm not looking for comments like "who cares it's just strain, just enjoy it", I'm genuinely curious. Perhaps there really is no difference. Thanks!

ill bet its just some crystally commercials that your friend is trying to hype up. the strawberry kush is probably that flavor syrup for tobacco that you can get for 5$

I just harvested 4 purple widow plants about 3 weeks ago. The cripest buds i grew so far. Right now i have about 10 strawberry kush growing. The plants look so nice. I have them growing in the ground on the big island in hawaii. I also had the 4 purple widow plants in the ground at the same place. I cant say now which one is better but i pick up the purple widow grown indoor and i must say one of the better buds i smoked.
