In 1985, the average percentage of THC in samples of seized marijuana in the US was 3.48, 2.80 in 1986, 3.20 in 1987, 3.70 in 1988, 3.78 in 1989, 3.82 in 1990, 3.26 in 1991, 3.16 in 1992, 3.65 in 1993, 3.75 in 1994, 3.96 in 1995, 4.50 in 1996, 5.01 in 1997, 4.91 in 1998, 4.59 in 1999, 5.34 in 2000, 6.10 in 2001, 7.20 in 2002, 7.14 in 2003, 8.13 in 2004, and 8.14 in 2005.

damn that koo thats also the reason why alot of people from back in the day don't smoke. Shits so potent that they can't even begin to understand the highs we experience. I did however find that old hippies grow primo shit from like strains they partook in back in the day. Damn smoking culture has so many intricate twists and turns

it's not that mj has gotten generally more potent, it's that the bomb stuff is more common simply because it has become easier to grow with new lighting technology and so forth. I'm sure baby-boomer hippies were exposed to the same degree of potency in bud at one point or another, just not as often as we're fortunate enough to enjoy

Well, it wasn't until a couple hundred years ago that people that knew much about herbs and the like were considered anything more than a "witch." Plus, I'm sure that back in the day the techniques used today to breed and cross-breed weren't as known, and, in the very least, not practiced nearly as much for cannabis than for other plants.

I'm sure that cannabis potency HAS steadily risen these past few years.

Many many Years ago in the UK the queen would fine you £5 if you owned land and did not grow cannabis in it ,
