It amazes me how many people still advertise that they are under 18.

I have never really had any problems buying lighters in England when I was under 18 or 16 (legal smoking age here). You could try buying one of those long lighters used for lighting the stove. Maybe they would be more inclined to sell you one fo those.

Umm, no you dont. I've been buying lighters in the kroger down the street from my house since i was 12 (When i started smoking) they dont say shit and they never said shit to my parnets or nothing. Its not illegal buddy, atleast not in virginia.

I know a lot about mari and development. Before the age of 18 smoking often weed will slow down or totally stop the development of the brain.

a few questions for ya:

1. the magic number of 18 you cited seems too coincidental, as it is also the age to smoke cigs, you get adult status, can buy glass from head shops, and can post on these boards.

2. people do not all develop at the same rate, correct? and guys do not stop growing until 21

3. can weed really stop brain development? that is scary. if it is even somewhat true, then no one should smoke, as we are constantly using our brains and learning new and complex things at any age.

4. if it does slow/stop development, should those in college not smoke?

You don't have to be 18, it's company policy. And sometimes it's just douchebag checkout guys. Go in during the day, it's less shady. They'll sell you anything. Or if you're cool with the people at your local headshop, they'll sell you anything too. My friend is 16 and buys cigs and cigars from our headshop all the time.

when you're 14 you should be enjoying other things that you wont be able to enjoy when you are 18 hah. If getting a lighter is that big of an issue you probably shouldnt be smoking yet anyway. I mean not trying to get all parental, but for real ... you should be able to make a mature well thought out decision about what you want to put in your lungs.

Second, why do you have to STEAL? Like seriously. People are out there trying to send out this peaceful image of cannabis smokers who don't harm anybody and just expand their minds and what not. Why would you go out and steal from people who are just trying to live. Stealing...is what 14 year-old kids do.. hah
