Buckets Per Light?
Shouldn't be any problem ,

Fem. seeds are an option like Creator said - but until your sure you can control temps etc... any stress can piss them off and that's an invitation for hermies .

Buckets Per Light?
Hey everybody,I'am doing a DWC and ebb&flood tray.I build a cab for the ebb and have one 400watt in there and one 400watt in the closet in the DWC.The ebb cab is doing great and the DWC is out of this world. There's 3 clone and one from seed in the cab.The closet dwc is from seed. This is a first time hydro grow for me and a learning too.In the cab the 400 is all I need. The closet I will be getting a 1000 later. In the dwc I have one bucket and that's all the 400 can do for this plant. It's a monster and if there was more buckets they would not get enough light. The biggest problem is heat. But the closet is ac and the cac has a 300cfm fan pulling air through the light from the cab space and a 200cfm pulling air in from outside the cab.The central ac in the house is at 72 degree and the closet too.One thing I learned is to let the water you use actuate to room temps before you put it in the res or bucket.Hers something too when you change the buckets nutr I let the roots set in the bucket with no water for 5 to 15 mins. Then put them in the new nutr solution. You can even put back the same nutr that they came out of the bucket too,This will give the plant a growth spurt.I think one 400watt light you can grow two in buckets and 4 plants in ebb cab and you will be fine. Here's some pixs of the cab and the bucket. The bucket started with cfls for the first 2-1/2 weeks and then in to the closet with 400 MH, and now with 400watt HPS to finish. She is now showing she is a female too.The cab is all females. The 3 clones are from a outside plant and one from seed. PEACE

Much appreciated. I will be starting from seed though.
Can you give me a ballpark of weeks time from seed sprouting to the time I should flip to 12/12? 5-8 weeks? Just a guide to shoot for.
