Nobel Peace Prize for Inconvenient Errors?
well said tea party...
ive watched enough discovery channel and other educational programs through the years to conclude that I'm 99% sure global warming is real and caused by humans. Al Gore is doing his part to try and make the world a better place. He deserves the Nobel Prize, in my opinion.

Sorry I didn't spend a half hour like you making a reply to a thread, I simply said I hate him and his global warming hype because I don't believe in it and I believe other reasons are for it getting "hotter".

Nobel Peace Prize for Inconvenient Errors?
I'm so sick of hearing about global warming. The climate has been changing since the earth started its existence and it will continue to change regardless of what humans do or do not do. Like p4b said, 30 years the hype was a fear of global cooling.
Scientists have drilled deep into the ice near the pole, taken core samples and determined that 2 million years ago Iceland was a tropical jungle. Who was responsible for that?
The Nobel committe has forever cheapened their award. Awarding it based on hype makes it meaningless. The only upside I can see to this is that "everyone" is now speculating the Gore might enter the presidential race ...and I'd love to see what that would do to Hillary. She would come totally unhinged.

hypocrisy aside, i agree with the poster who said at least he's spreading awareness.
sorry i'm a man of few words tonight i'm baked but i've watched inconvenient truth and i really think he's sincere in his efforts to save the planet. even if he's wrong, going green can only help, right?
GO AL GORE!

Yeah 'going green' could probably only be a good thing, but the whole spreading awareness could also be bad, we could be worrying about and spending money on something that is impossible to change or is just natural..

Talk about a rip-off! As if oil companies aren't making record profits and don't have any money of their own to spend.
As with most government "emergencies", the average person takes it in the ass while the mega rich get mega richer.
