    pain exacerbated when high

hey guys! I'm new to the forum and am definitely liking what i see so far . I was just wondering if anybody is a freak like me and has worse pain after smoking... I have had back pain for the past few years from sports and every time I smoke, the pain gets worse. Although my pain gets worse, other sensations get 10 times better...if you catch my drift so my little hypothetical conjecture is that my senses are heightened and I just feel everything much more than I normally would. Has anyone experienced this? or does anyone know of any scientific explanation...maybe it could also be the difference in weed types (sativa vs. indica)?
    Thanks!

Since I wouldn't advocate the use of painkillers when smoking marijuana, I'd say the best thing would be to just ignore it and focus on other sensations. A friend I know used to have muscle pains (all-body) when he smoked. He learned to drown them out, and now they're gone. But since what you have is chronic (no pun intended), and not simple muscle pain, I wouldn't know really exactly what to tell ya'.

Welcome to the boards Incubus. I am indeed one of your fellow "freaks", and it's always nice to know we're not alone. I have nerve and soft tissue damage throughout my spine that causes pain in most of my body, especially the back, neck and spine. Smoking weed makes it considerably worse, but not if I keep it to only once (maybe twice) every 2 weeks. So if you're willing to smoke very scarcely, this is something to keep in mind.

Isn't it such a piss off that we have to be in the rare 1% that don't get to enjoy the miracle analgesia everybody else gets from weed?

    pain exacerbated when high

The other night I was laying on my bed high, and I felt this pain so intense I cant even describe it. It felt like the inside of my body was burning its way out. It felt so unnatural. I started yelling it was so bad. I can kind of feel it most of the time when I smoke, never that bad though.

i used a new brand of deodorant one morning a few weeks back. by that evening my armpit was burning.

i smoked. weed didnt help. it still hurt, felt like a sunburn. so i put a little of that blue sunburn gel on my armpit to cool the burn.

i have never in my life experienced that intense pain. i have had surgery, tatoos, etc etc... it put me on the floor screaming like i was on fire.

    weird
