    GH's Maxigrow and Maxibloom

Just received my Maxigrow and Maxibloom, Both 1.5 lbs

    For maxigrow it says
    seedlings.... 1/4 tsp per gallon
    regular....... 1 tsp per gallon

I have a 40 gallon reservoir... My question is will 1.5 pounds of dry nutrient with those mixing ratio's work until I need to switch to Maxibloom? Or do you think I will run out of nutrients? :wtf:

Also, a few questions not directly related to the title of the post...

I do not add ANY nutrients for the first TWO weeks of the seedlings life cycle, right?
Would it be better to root plants directly into hydroton, or to use rockwool cubes?
Should the PH of my nutrient solution once done mixing be around 5.8? ((add PH-Down if necessary?))

Also, received Cal-Mag In the mail as well

When Do I know when to use the cal-mag? Every other watering? And should I just follow the instructions on the bottle... or is there a preference of how much Cal-Mag should be used for this particular type of garden?

So many questions as this grow is about to begin....

Ah.. Also I have a "Brita" water filter attached to my sink in my kitchen.... Tested the PPM Of it and its 178.... I read somewhere that the Brita filter would take out most of the contaminants like chlorine.... Should I still boil the water after it comes out of the Brita Filter? Or Boil it and then leave it for 3 days? Where is the cal-mag involved in this?

Wouldn't you know: Another damn question....

So I shouldn't transfer the plants to the hydro set-up until the 2nd or 3rd set of true leaves... Does this mean that I should keep them in rockwool cubes under flourescent? once the roots outgrow the cube, i transfer to rockwool blocks?. The roots can't be exposed to light I know that much...

But i mean, for the first couple of weeks all I really need is a plastic cup and rockwool blocks / cube... Just pure water when the rockwool drys out?
