    My preschool plants

Hey all, I'm very, very, new to growing and know almost nothing about it. Anyway I grew a very small plant recently, up to about 5 inches, in good condition and then gave it away. Obviously it would be easier if I could hold onto the plants but this isn't the case. The plant was grown purely by sunlight on a window shelf with a small amount of watering each day. Anywhoooo, do you guys think shifting the plants around at such a young age could increase a great deal of risk to the plants future? The plant would have to be removed from its original pot and put into another, any advice on how to ensure the plant will be fine in its new pot? Any other noob friendly info would be appreciated too.

Repotting is very easy and not bad for the plant, just wait until it is close to being rootbound, prepare the new larger pot half full of good soil, tip the old on eover suporting the stem between your fingers, tap sharply on the bottom of the pot, it shoudl slide right out, and you can plant and backfill around it.
Changing light conditions is stressful, and a young plant shoudl be under at least 18 hours of light per 24 hour cycle.
In my signature there's a really useful set of instructions I wrote out of pure boredom.... haha... enjoy!
