I'm confused

I'll try to make it short and sweet but still it might be a long read...anyway

I just broke up with my gf (ditched for another guy) but anyway thats not the prob cause it as been 3 weeks now and I'm ok with that even if we have been together 3 years and a half. Actually 2 weeks of weed and crying got me out of the hole. Now I've been hanging with some girls at my college and there is this one girls that I kinda like alot. I'm a very very romantic type and well I wrote her a very cute letter that basicly says thats I'd like very much to go out with her but I can understand that we dont see eye to eye and if its the case then lets be good friends and then well see. Anyway, took me a hell of alot of courage to give it to her wich I did and she was very shy and emotionnal and all when she read it in front of me. So, obviously she was happy and surprised but she also knows about my recent breakup and she thinks I'm not ready yet and also..well in her last relationship it went bad cause the guy she was with had the same experience as me so he kinda used her just too fill up is lonelyness and that was it so she is being cautious and I understand so just being friend is ok but my feeling are the same. The problem where I'm kinda confused is that I went to see her the day after I gace her the letter and she was kinda cold...like I was some regular guy and well like nothing had happened and well I wanted to talk to her...you know get together to do stuff but I get the impression that maybe I'm just not her type and if thats the reason then I wanna know so I can let go...

anyway she gave me her phone number and msn but today I did not see her and well she was on msn and I figured that if she wants to talk to me she will...ill let her move...but she didnt...what to do? ask her what she feels...talk to her anyway...let her think...? I dont know...

Ho and btw I wrote her e-mails and she answered me back that she dosent like to communicate like this cause there is no way of knowing if its the truth and I'm ok with that..that's why I went to see her the other day but she dosent talk at all about this...

Damn dude, that's rough, 3 and a half years and left for another guy? This other girl just doesn't seem interested, neither is my now ex girlfriend of 6 months. As is the cruel, catastraphic, circle of life. We must move on and attempt to engage in conversations with someone who shares similar interests. It is not easy, but possible.
