    Stretch?

I was looking around on here and could really find anything on stretch besides it being mentioned a few times.

Can stretch kill a plant. I have 10 plants and they all are stretch because of the light. The stalks are tiny yet and only 3 of them can actually hold them selves up without props. Will these still grow into mature plants even with the stretch that has taken place. A few of the plants are around 9" tall but the leaves are starting to be prominent.

More light is now available and closer to the plants. So I think problem corrected.

    Will they survive?

    Stretch?

if they are in soil, when you transplant, just cut off some of the bottom leafs and plant deeper in the soil. That will lower your plants, but make sure the light is close enough to plant. Depending on the type of light that you are using will determine how close they should be.

    Stretch?

    Thanks for the reply.

They are in soil. I thought about doing this but was not sure if this was ok to do. So I am glad someone else said something on the same order as I was thinking. I was going to transplant today. So the roots can grow seeing as how they are in 2oz cups right now. Roots are showing threw the bottom.

    Thanks again.
