Reusing soilless mix ? Can It Be Done
Nope, Pro-Mix is one that you shoudl not try to reuse. It's only good for about 3 months of use total before the texture gets all nasty and the pH starts fluctuating.
I reuse my compost mix once, to pot up clones that aren't going to be in the small pots for long anyway, but reusing soil is generally asking for salt and pest problems.stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . Reusing soilless mix ? Can It Be Done I am trying to find out if after your plant have finished there life cycle in soilless mix like Premier Pro-Mix can it be reused. This stuff seems weired to buy a bunch of 3.8cft bags every few months. I was thinking about chopping up the roots in it mix it with worm castings and maybe some manure, Lime, and blood meal. Then reuse it. CAN THIS BE DONE? If so Whats the Tech. Rating: 5
