8-10 glasses of water spread out throughout the day will not result in a diluted urine. In fact, 40 ounces of water 3 hours before the sample is what is used for those who "can't go" so do the math. Reality check: Since they are signing your paycheck they can tell you not to forcefeed yourself fluids before your drug test. There are under no obligation to hire people who dilute and they are under no obligation to keep people employed who fail random tests repeatedly for dilution.
