weird experience

ok i finally smoked today, after like 5 days of a break.

for the past 2-3 weeks, ive been smoking nothing but top of the line shit (25 a gram, yes 25 a gram, but it sooooo worth it.) and after a while, some of the effects became not so dramatic (after like a week and a half of smoking jus that).

so i went and bought some middies today, for like 30 a quarter, and i swear that stuff, out of NOWHERE, got me the highest i have ever been in my whole life. i swear. i have no idea how this happened either, maybe change in weed? taking a break? or both, who knows..


but, has anyone else had weird times when you get high as balls off of shit that you wouldnt expect to get you that high?

Yea, whenever I get new bags, I get caught by surprise of how high I get. I took 3 hits last week of some bud my friend and I got and got fuuuuucked up.

Yeah man... it happens with me also, but for me its because of the break... as im a daily toker, whenever i stay more than 3-4 days without smoke, my tolerance goes low, so when i smoke again i go HIGHHH. :stoned:

this might be all in my head, but if i get like a qp of some dank nug and smoke on that for like a month when i run out and have to get a different bag, i always get high as shit the first time i smoke the new stuff, even if it is lesser quality. i don't know if you can build a tolerance to specific strains or if i just get used to that particular high...or maybe it's a placebo effect.

One thing i am positive about is that taking a break from smoking makes smoking so awesome. If you smoke morning, noon, and night, your tolerance gets so high... I had to take a drug test for a job a few months ago and I didn't smoke for 3 weeks...when I finally did I got so baked, it was amazing. it is hard to take a break when i don't absolutely have to though.. haha

same stuff happens to me usually, i was about to go camping a couple months ago and bought a bag because it was me and a bunch of friends, and we packed a huge bowl before we were going to get all our stuff in the truck, i hadnt smoked for 3 or 4 days, DAYS, and i had about 4 rips and i was so gone i could barely move.

im kind of forced to take small breaks in between bags because around where im at its pretty scarce to find, so usually the longest i have to wait is a week, right now its been about 5 days and im getting some tonight and am really looking forward to getting fall-off-my-chair-roased tonight after work

I think it might have something to do with whether it was an indica or sativa strain... like, could you build a tolerance to sativas, but then when you smoke lower quality indica you get blown away? Or vice versa? Hmmm...
