i got nothin but love for him especially since he came straight out UT with a heisman. i hope he can get reinstated soon before he gets too old to do anything. he had a fucking 3,000+ yard season in 2002 i believe.

Going to have to disagree with people here. I don't like him at all. He was a solid runner back in the day but he pissed away every opportunity given to him :wtf:

I remember watching an interview on ESPN in March or April in which Ricky Williams said he didn't need pot anymore and that it was behind him and how he was focused on returning to the NFL. To get far in his career, to dominate that much on the field, and to lose it over and over again is ridiculous. And he sucked in the CFL where he was supposed to smack everyone around.

Here's hoping he's the third string RB for some arena league team this time next year :jointsmile:

I'd say I'm jealous of a player like Derrick Brooks or Curtis Martin, but not Ricky Williams. The idea that he is playing for cash is what makes me sick. He is a bust in my books and people should forget about him and focus on the athletes that do positive things and deserve recognition :thumbsup:

But honestly, what is there to like about him?
