Can't smoke!!!!!!!

If it's any consolation to you, I'm a moderator on a cannabis forum and I can't smoke. I not only agreed not to use illicit substances when I entered medical school last year, I also have some serious heart-rhythm and pulmonary health issues that cannabis wreaks havoc on. I had a 7 1/2 hour minimally invasive surgical procedure a week ago to fix the heart rhythm problem and am having further complications since then. You at least will be able to go back to smoking sometime in the future. I'm not sure I ever will.

I feel your pain. Keep in mind that, in your case, it's not forever.

Whoa, 7 1/2 hours under was considered minimal? Not to me. I was going to say I hope you are doing alright but then I saw you are having issues. I'm sorry. But you do have Dr.Dave with ya and a doctor in house is always nifty.

I got a better idea... take a fat juicy hamburger throw some jack daniels barbq sauce in and blend that shit and drink it.

OR what you could do is absorb some weed in milk (whole milk) strain it out and make a milkshake with that, drink it and get blazed.

Well, it was minimally invasive. That is, they went in through four little incisions in my big arteries and veins instead of doing open-heart surgery. The procedure itself was long and complex, and they apparently ran into some trouble. It was only supposed to last for up to five hours. That's the longest anesthesia I've ever had.

Now I have these terrible hematomas at three of the incision sites, the worst two on both sides of my groin, and I'm so bruised up from the blood thinners that when I go out in public people stare and seem to immediately conclude that Dave is a domestic abuser. I have never had anything hurt worse than these hematomas, which are pressing against the nerves that supply my legs, and I'm a tough bird when it comes to pain. I've also had an allergic reaction to one of my pain meds. So I'm covered in a rash. This has been a rough week. I've been grounded from returning to school till next week.

What are you complaining about? Boo-hoo, you can't smoke. It's better that way. You had a collapsed lung, I seriously doubt smoking would do any good. Plus, you're getting other and better goodies.

yea, kinda getting over the fact that I cant smoke, just so weird smoking everyday for years to nothing. Baking is a good idea i'm reading more into gonna try out some receipes just dont wanna fuck it up and waste good chron.

I did get some good pain killers, oxy codone, yea its good but fucks with ur head after a while, aint nothin like mary.
