300gph for 40 gal reservoir (ebb & flow) ???
Is 300 gph enough speed to function correctly for a 40 gallon reservoir filling a tray that holds 6 Five-Gallon containers? (flow tray is as deep as containers)

300gph for 40 gal reservoir (ebb & flow) ???
Well a 300 gph pump is roughly 5 gallons per minute. Depending upon how high the pump has to lift the water, it shouldn't be too bad. If you are filling your tray to the desired height in less than 15 minutes, it shouldn't be a big deal. I run my aero setup with 30 gallons using a 250gph magdrive pump.
