FIRST THREAD WITH FIRST GROW...HELP!

SO late march my stoner friend threw me some bag seed she was collceting, said some of them were really good strains. I actually started indoors because the northeastern springs can still be mostly winter.

My one surviving potted plant, from having to hide it, run it in and out of the house, keep it under a tiny grow light at times in my room to finally a safe place in a field-is over 3 feet tall. Didn't smell at all but now that its budding has a fresh mango/grapefruit scent. Resing glands look pretty so far. Has done really well in the hot Northeast climate but practically laid on its side for a while-i supect some root damage.

BUT I think always having to move it has put a strain on it. As I mentioned the buds have started to show resin glands...a lot actually. HOWEVER the buds along the branches dont really seem dense at all-anywhere from 1/2, 1/4 to 1/8inch tufts sprinkled with resin glands. Is this because of the irregular conditions I've had to put it through or do I just haveto wait longer for them to develop more?

Am I just freaking impatient? Should I try foxfarm beastie bloomz and see what happens in a few weeks? The top cola looks pretty good and the resin glands around the end clusters of all the branches all look pretty serious, its just the buds further in. I'm using fox farm ocean forest, just bought foxfarm's Cha-Ching. Remember: I have no idea what strain this is...but here are some pics.

aaand a few more. So yeah, no clue what strain it is, whether its indica, sativa or a mix, or most importantly when its supposed to flower.

the small pot will keep it from growing the big dense buds you see in the magazines, but it actually looks quite good, for a first grow, it's very good ... it is a sativa-dominant hybrid ... it is still producing, you have a couple weeks to go, I should think ... the only way to know when it's reaady to harvest, is an examination of the trichomes with a strong magnifying glass, or Radio Shack $10 pocket microscope ... http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-faqs...n-harvest.html
this close to harvest, there's not a lot to do for your plant, don't give it more water than it needs, I think the Cha-Ching works like molasses, not sure ... no nitrogen to be added ... get her all the light you can, stay constant on the timing of the light exposure, watch for male flowers, snip them off, if you do ...

By the way thank you, sir. I did as you instructed and ended up somewheres north of 1.5 dry ounces. The fruity mango aroma came and went with the amount of discipline I took into curing the two jars after hanging them in racks. This was the last man standing of a basgeed thunder dome. The dried buds were light and fluffly mostly due to my inexperience, but both the orange hairs and trichs were pretty long. Had a citrus-pine sol flavor...yeah pretty pungent. The stone was like a punch in the head, KO couchlock.
