garlic mashed potatoes

not a weed recipe.. just a new recipe i tried out tonight... play with the portions to fit your taste, my measurements are mostly just guesstimates as i never measure anything when cooking unless it's like baking or very sensitive like gravy....

4 large potatoes (5-6 medium)
6 cloves garlics peeled (but whole)
3/4 cup butter
1/3 cup milk
1 1/2 teaspoons pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon sweet basil
5 strips cooked shredded/ground bacon (or 1/4 cup bacon bits, optional)


cut the potatoes into about 1 inch cubes, cover with water, throw in garlic cloves. boil for about 20-30 minutes or until the potatoes have reached desired tenderness.

drain, pour in remaining ingredients, use a mixer and whip them up good (don't want any whole cloves left behind)

and that's it, enjoy.... if you've ever been to outback and had their garlic mashed potatoes that's pertty much the same exact thing....
