    workouts

    i think all them munchies are starting to show.. im growing a little bit of fat on my inner thighs. do any of you workout fanatics have any good inner thigh workouts? and love handle (oblique) workouts?
    i do jog but i'm trying to target these problems areas.

    any good websites or good workout techniques would be great! i think alot of us would benefit from it too thanks.

    Working out those areas (inner thighs, obliques, stomach/abs) will not make you lose fat on those areas. You may develop larger muscles and thus slightly increase your metabolism, but you will lose little fat. The best way to lose that weight is to start doing cardiovascular exercise be it running, swimming, jogging, rowing, eliptical, stairs, etc. Besides that, try eating fewer munchies and eating at regular periods. Supposedly the best regimen for eating is eating six small meals a day, but I've never been able to stick to that. Just try eating smaller portions and eating healthily with lots of water. Start slow with the cardio workout unless you're already in decent shape. Its amazing what it will do for you after you get into it regularly. Remember, the key is consistency, not how hard you start out. Don't overwork yourself and become frustrated... Good luck!

    He's right. You cant target an area for fat loss. I'd start drinking more water and try to move more during the day if you dont have time for any more cardio. Take stairs rather than the elevator and that type thing

    thanks to both of you guys, i really hope i can do this i got to lose about i want to lose 15 by nov 24th(the day of the wedding). So i got to start NOW!!! I just say i have a month to lose the weight make me workout more than on time a day. I have Yoga monday and wednesnay. I do jazzercise on tuesday and thursday and i am starting to ride the bike for 25 min in between two classes on monday and wednesday which is right before yoga. but i need to do more, i think i am going to do my FIT TO STRIP workout i saw A TON of results with that

    You should take a spin class. That's mad cardio, more tailored for the ladies, although it's pretty good for guys as well, you won't catch them in that class tho!

    spin classes are SO tough! i mean it may look easy just sitting there on a bike as your legs go around and around. but my cousin volunteers at a gym and has asked me go once. and that was the only time i went. the next day my but my whole legs killlled. needless to say, i did get a good workout thought. haha.

    augh cardio is tough, but i think you are all right, its the best way to go. back to the gym for me.

    particle guy is right the whole thing of thousands of people using ab machines to slim down their chubby stomachs is ridiculous, gain muscle you don't lose fat.

    I know it feels pretty miserable at first Crude but keep it up daily even just for two weeks and you'll definitely begin to feel much better as well as slowly but surely slimming down.

    Think of it this way, after you've been exercising a few weeks would you ever look back at it and think man I wish I hadn't done that.
